Assuming we don't get a large number in th Square...propose:
Out via Stockton on Forest to Buttercrambe/right after bridge /head to Pocklington/head to and up Givendale/cross A166/Birdsall/Malton/back to York via Warthill/Murton
Should be a 3 hr ride or so. In summary: flattish for the first bit, a b*****y great hill in the middle with some lumpy stuff on the way back.
Yes....forecast doesn't look great does it.....Cold and wet I can cope with but ice and high winds not too happy about....It may be alright but discretion is the better part of valour or....something like that . I may well get out solo but don't fancy riding in a group when it's so gusty. I'd rather save my high speed 'touching of wheels' and crashes for races.....so I won't be at the Square.
