Inters/A-Ride for Sat, Nov. 21st

The forecast is not favourable this weekend, mostly dry and sunny, but rather cold and strong NW winds for Saturday. I'd like to get out if it's not snowing

A couple of weeks ago, we headed out Masham way and passed by Thorpe Perrow Arboretum, where a few riders commented that it would be nice to make a trip there.

Having missed the October trip, I've not personally visited the arboretum, so I thought it might be worth a ride out. We should expect to fight the wind in the morning and ride a tailwind home.

Warm hats/gloves/booties and lights recommended

Hoping to get out on Saturday. Not sure I'll be up to keeping up on the hills not having been riding since early September until a few days ago but will give it a go.

I'm intending to be out tomorrow. As you say Tony, the main problem will be the head wind on the way out, so safety in numbers and regular changes at the front will be the order of the day. I'm looking forward to the super fast ride home with the wind behind us though. Should be fun! See you tomorrow.

Have a good ride guys. Ill be giving it a miss this week. Don't fancy riding in that wind and anyway don't feel 100% having got cold after last weeks wet ride
