Lost Garmin 705

Post by IanH »

I enjoyed tonight's TT on the wet roads which was slightly soured when somewhere after Terrington bank I noticed that my Garmin 705 edge was missing from its bracket after it must have shaken loose on the rough sections of the roads somewhere after Ganthorpe I believe although I really can't remember the exact time/place I last glanced down at it..

I drove back round the course from Sherrif Hutton to Ganthorpe in the hope of spotting it but to no avail, the only good thing is I didn't spot a squashed metal object On the road which gives me some hope if may have bounced onto the grass verge of somewhere and Dave Cook and tonight's organiser Martin have already kindly told me they would look out for it as they ride through the area in the next few days, and I would really appreciate it if any other riders could just keep an eye out for it as they may ride the area, or if anyone hears of somebody finding it to post on here as it would be worth a few drinks to them if they do..

Here's in hope, Ian H.

Went out early this morning for another search and found the smashed glass faceplate three quarters of the way down Terrington Bank and the rest was nowhere to be found so at least I know it's well broken and not worth anyone trying to keep a look out for it.

Sorry to hear Ian

There are usually a few for sale on ebay - not sure what they go for (£80-100??).
Keep pedalling!
