MTB ride Wed 22nd

Post by NickScull »

Who's up for another jaunt around the tracks at Castle Howard?

With the daylight drawing in I was thinking of using lights for the last 30 mins or so to keep the ride at 2 hours and as a trial to see what this night riding lark is all about.

If you want to ride but only until it gets dark then no problem, we'll just plan a different route. I'd much rather do a shorter ride with company than night riding on my own.

So who's coming?

Yes, I'm planning on being there. Will try and borrow some lights but not a certainty.

Can offer a lift from York.

Sorry, not this week due to work.

Gill rode last Wed and said it was just getting dark as they finished about 8.30.

Have fun!

I'm really sorry guys, but I'm going to have to pull out at the last minute.

Have a good one.

Top ride
We managed the big loop = 15 miles in about 2 hours
Admittedly it was bit gloomy by the time we got back :)
Askham Paul basked in Stephs floodlight type beam
In comparison I had a glow-worm attached to the bars
