Hi everyone

The hawk-eyed amongst you will have seen that I've been updating the News section of the website over the past week to bring out more of what the Club has been doing over the past year. In the absence of the Cliftonite, I think it's important that our activities are publicised somewhere so that existing and potential members are aware of what we're all getting up to.

I've also been including some photos, particularly on the home page, which I will turn over every couple of months so that people don't get sick of the sight of themselves.

Obviously this is a baby step towards expanding our presence in digital media and no doubt further considerations will be going on behind the scenes to identify what else we should be doing.

In the meantime however, it would be fantastic if members could submit any photos or write-ups of interesting rides and activities so that other members can share in their enjoyment. I'm happy to dedicate the time to publishing any submissions onto the website. Please send any photos or write-ups to cliftonite@cliftoncc.org and I'll process them from there. (Kindly submit images as separate attachments to the write up, ie. please don't embed them in a document, it's easier for me to publish.) By the way, anything cycling-related is interesting, please don't let shyness hold you back - most members are simply interested in anything cycling-related and like reading about what's going on - the more the merrier!

I hope everyone is happy with this. As I said, it's only a start but we have to start somewhere.
