We need a further two marshalls & a time keeper for the the event to go ahead this Thursday.

Hi all,
There is a certain footy match on at 8pm on Thursday and I would hazard a guess that numbers might be low. In view of this, and given that we don't appear to have enough volunteers yet (probable connection there...) is it an option to reschedule this event in the series? We could either tag it on the end or use the first week in July which is usually skipped due to the Open TT but not on this year due to Le Tour?
Just putting an idea out there are certainly not trying to put anyone off riding if they want to.

I will admit to being drawn towards the football on Thursday. I guess there may be footy agnostics (or scots) who want to ride - might be worth posting up to get an idea of numbers to help John's decision?

I'm a football fan but the idea of not doing the event has never entered my head. Not heard of recording?

Just to remind people we still need a couple of mashalls for Thursday.
For any one not used to this, this would be a good night to start as it may be a quite night, dew to a football game. (I think we had this date booked before them ? )
The weather looks good and it will be a good evening if we can get the 2 extra marshalls.
If need be everyone can turn their phones of & promise not to discuss any football results so you can watch the game when you get home.
