Cycling in Film at City Screen

Post by PhilBixby »

City Screen has always been pretty good at supporting cycling events in the city with themed screenings, and the upcoming Tour frenzy is no exception. They're showing...

Pantani: the accidental death of a cyclist on 5th July
The Flying Scotsman on 6th July and
The Armstrong Lie on 7th July

...and because they like us so much, they're giving 10% discount on ticket prices when a current Clifton membership card is shown.

While I'm here I'll give an additional plug for the David Millar Project meet the filmmakers evening on 1st July - the director and special guest, footage from the film-in-the-making and the director's previous Craig Maclean short. Part film screening and part discussion in the bar. How civilised is that?
