NYERRL 3 - The Return to Bishop Wood
Not going to risk making predictions about my own performance this Thursday, though the weather is about right for me and we might even manage dry roads. However, you'll find my overly laboured "who to watch" post on the series page here: http://wp.me/p4eMhr-2J

Could someone bring the best team shield please.

Congratulations to Max West - 5th on the night, putting himself 12th in the series and moving Clifton to 5th in the team table. I wrote something briefly for the series website, but deliberately omitted the detail regarding the stoppage midway through:

As for myself, I made it a lap further than last year's 4th's only race. I struggled with the corners and found myself hitting the first bridge on my absolute limit without a hope of surviving bridge-corner-bridge. Possibly my fault for not making a serious attempt to move up in the forest the previous lap. Then I learnt a harsh lesson about keeping going when I failed to stamp my pedals and catch the race just as it restarted - though whether I could have kept up after 2 laps on my own is another matter.
