Weekend Round -up November 2/3

Seven set of for the Sunday Club Run to Northallerton.
Clear bright day with a stiff wind to fight at times to enjoy at others. TonyG stayed with us until we turned right for Crayke. Neil was next to make an exit at Coxwold. He was trying out a insurance replacement bike after having one stolen in the summer. We kept the company of Timj until just before Kirby Knowle. Who was killing time until it was safe to go back home.
We explored a few lanes until we went under the A19 at Borrowby. This was Time for PaulM to head south for home. What did I do ! It was funny watching them depart one by one. This left Pete the younger MikeH and self to complete the ride. We ate at Sam Turners Cafe at the far end of Northallerton.
We were back on our bikes after eating chat and a tube change within an hour. Back via Yafforth Maunby Kirby Wiske Thirsk Sessay Helperby and so on. 91 miles in the end back by four.

Great route Steen well done. With numbers falling until there was only 3 of us left at the 40 mile mark I was wondering if we would make it back to York together. Really enjoyed the ride even though the first 30 miles or so killed me. I must've warmed up after that!
