New surface @ York Minster

Having walked past, and run my hand over the new surface by the Minster today, I really hope no one has the misfortune to land on it with any part of their body during the upcoming City centre races, its savage to say the least!!!!!

There's plenty of time before July for various utilities companies to now come along and dig up the new surface to lay pipes / cables etc. should be a couple of nice Tarmac strips to follow by race day!
