Weekly Update
I've been cycling outside the confines of Yorkshire most weekends recently due to other commitments but hope to be back at the Square this Saturday. From recent posts it seems that if I turn up anytime between 8.45 and 10am there will be a ride to join. Excellent stuff!
Am I the only one not getting a 'Weekly Update' email? I haven't had one at all in April. I know that there was talk of these emails only going to members (which I am) but I always find them helpful and whilst I haven't been able to get out at the weekend in York recently they are always good to have. Can anyone explain why they have stopped? Many thanks.

Hi Guys
Just seen this and to save any further +1s etc embaressment.... just to remind everyone that our hardworking Secretary has had a small matter of her wedding over the Easter hols so I think can be forgiven for putting Clifton CC slightly lower in her priorities
If we were at Work, we'd manage cover, but when the Committee are willing volunteers, then it's our job to support & understand.
Am sure weekly updates will soon get back on an even keel and as Mike amusingly points out, the forum currently keeps us posted of London bus timetables for Sat morning rides.......
PS. Congratulations to Hannah and Simon recently married
Cheers
Claire

Hi all,
Thank you Claire
Apologies to all who haven't recieved an update - there wasn't one sent out in April. I now realise the error of suggesting the 1st of April as the email list clean up date and then going on honeymoon for a week!
Business as usual this week so if you don't receive an email on Thursday or Friday of this week and you think you should please email/pm me. The email is sent to an email list so you should either always get them or never get them, Dr Dave I'm confused as to how you sometimes get them and sometimes don't, email or pm me if you think there is a problem
Many thanks
Hannah

Hannah, Claire,
Many thanks for the posting and congratulations Hannah on the wedding.
My posting certainly wasn't a dig as I am always so amazed that the weekly update comes out with so much information. I was just hoping I hadn't been axed from it for cycling without due care or attention or such like.
The bad news for me is that the bike will have to go into the back of the car again as it looks as though I will not be in York again this weekend. I'll post on the weekend update under 'Lonely cyclist does Britain'
I'll look forward to receiving the weekly update this week. It is my only link with the motherland.

No worries at all, I didn't think you were having a dig - I managed to cause utter mayhem last week by not being there to send an update, I have had many emails from people worrying that we'd ditched them
. Even more embarrassingly, the date on which the list was cleaned was proposed by me! Why do you never see these things coming?!!
Never mind, hopefully everyone will forgive my blunder.... doubtless it'll not be the only one I make
