Xmas ride out lunch

Post by IanH »

Thanks to Dave B for organising the Christmas lunch at the Duke of York in Gate Helmsley even including organising a quiz with Kevin and handing out 5 prizes, all this after a good ride, a bit tricky here and there due to odd sections of ice, hope Joe's leg is not too sore today after taking a tumble near Howsham and well done for continuing with all of the ride.

Yes nice day really enjoyed it. Hope the many fallers aren't too stiff today. Many thanks to 'Disco' Dave, and K ride Kevin.

Thanks Dave, that was a top choice of meal, made all the sweeter by the fact that I'd survived the day without breaking anything. The top of the Wolds were pretty sketchy! Anyway, I'm now toasty warm in my extra layer of insulating blubber, added thanks to four delicious courses. You should all sign up next year (and hope for less ice).

Thanks to Dave B for organising a great lunch, great food, amazing price. Thanks also to Kev for assisting Dave with the quiz.

Being a glutten for punishment did Rob's Scarborough ride on Sunday and another great Lunch. That was 190 miles for the w/e starting off with an enjoyable training ride.

Pity I can't do Tan Hill but I've got family commitments.
