Report from Group 2...

Good ride today. Everyone stuck together and maintained a good pace. Seemed pretty steady with no-one appearing to struggle with the speed. 19 mph for my total ride so, in hindsight, the out of town bit must have been quite swift.

All ready to do the training this morning till I went out for the bike noticed some black ice in the street so decided not to risk it maybe could have made the 10am ride but wimped out of that as well, must be getting old.

Roads were fine at 10. You missed a fun ride to Thornton-le-dale.

63 miles for me at 18.6mph including town riding.

Managed to squeeze in nearly 300 miles this month, more than I did in both July and August!
