Kevin, I have a BC road race the following day around a hilly circuit and have never done a TT in my life. Assuming I end up breathing through my ears for 35 mins or so on the Saturday, will a 40 something-year-old racing novice have anything left the next day? I realise I am the only one who should be able to answer this (and, if I do it, will have the data if there is a next time) but any wisdom from the more experienced is welcome.

A 13 mile TT shouldn't leave anything in the legs that a good nights sleep can't get rid of Richard. You wouldn't want to do a long ride with the intermediates or anything, that would leave a bit of residue.
I raced last Wednesday night on a tough little circuit, and felt fine for the Thursday night around Kirby Misperton.
If Kevin has requested you ride, you can't say no...those are the rules!!!
