Rnswick Bay Challenge - Sunday 20th

Post by Rob »

0900, The Square.
Pack your climbing legs and have a breakfast worthy of a 200km ride...
Will be another grand day out and I don't expect to be back before 6pm...
See you there

Will have to give this a miss this year :( I was entered in the Etape du Dales but have had to give that a miss too due to coming down with a chest infection. Its the only thing you cannot plan for is geting ill :(

Have a good ride everyone who ride it and im sure Rob will finesse the route to maximise the climbing

Would like to give this one a go as I am feeling ok after last weeks 300km.
However I will be at York Citys date with destiny at the play off final at Wembley. Was thinking if its still within the spirit of the chalange to do it on the 27th. Mark Dent might keep me company as it would be a good run out for his new bike and anyone else who can not make this Sunday.
I should be out on Saturday so if its ok maybe Claire co pass on the route.

As things stand at the moment it looks like not only will I have the day available to tackle this one but also I can be at the start the same time as everyone else. How well I'll keep up is another matter but I'm going to give it a go - memories of the last Runswick trip still haunt me.

200k and some hills... Given all the 300k heroics I'm shamed into giving it a go.

See you there Mal.
