Sherburn in Elmet circuit races.

I like to know what's happening in the village and I noticed there is some BC racing going on on the 1st of July.

It says Lennerton Lane, which is the road that goes down to the airfield, so I'm guessing it's on there. As far as racing on airfields goes I don't think it will be too bad round there, and I might give it a go myself. Everything from under 8's to elites seems to be on, and I don't think anything else is on that day, so thought some of you might like to know about it.

I can walk the bike down to this one being on my back door step,

Its on what use to be the old Blackburn Aircraft runway (WW2 era) which now is the Mintex brakes testing ground its separate to Sherburn Aero Club. Very flat and a good clean surface!

Just a bit of knowledge for you if you haven't been before....

Just had a look at the listing on the BC calendar - tempted to enter (partner will be busy singing and it'd give me a good excuse not to enter the hilly Vic Sutton vets race...) - should I be put off by the fact that a Mr O'Looney has already entered...?
