March MTB Club run - Sunday 11th March

Post by SimonW »

Dear all,

Two groups for March's club run

1. For the Racing Snakes - Meeting at Sutton Bank National Park Centre car park, turn left at the top of Sutton Bank off the A170. (bring money for the parking meter it's about £4)
Time: 10am
Distance: 35 miles with a cafe stop at 24 miles. Pace will be swift.

2. For the Sub Elite - Deb will be leading a ride starting at 11.30am, meeting at the same place, she will post more details this week. Pace will be steady.

Post if you can make it!

Cheers,

Simon

Hi All

Thanks Simon.

"Sub-Elite" will be steady ride out - c18-25miles distance will be generally weather dependent! It won't be any faster than the ride on the wolds the other week. Unlikely to be "technical" for any long period of time. Would suggest you bring a snack...banana/cereal bar etc.,

I'll have been running before leading the ride so if I'm a couple of minutes late do not panic! I'll be on my way. It is indeed £4 at the Visitor Centre...

Please post if you are joining this ride, see you at 11:30am on Sunday :)

I'd like to join if that's ok and will try not to fall off the bike. :|

Trails should be good- no rain is expected after Wednesday.
Thanks, Debs and Simon.

Hi Karl

Fingers crossed it does stop raining...!

Can you just clarify are you joining Simon's ride or mine - just so I know whether to wait around for you?

cheers

I will hopefully be there for 10am for the fast group. Not sure if I am going down with a cold. Jeff
