New Clifton kit on show at Revolution

Post by billyg »

Good to see the new Clifton kit on show in Saturday night's Revolution at the Manchester Velodrome.

Club member Martin Hinchliffe, who wore his new Clifton jersey and shorts was taking part in a handicap race which had Alex Dowsett from Team Sky chasing down the riders including Martin. The race was over 4 laps and Alex passed all the riders by the end, great ride by Martin and all the other riders.

If you watched Revolution on ITV 4 you would have caught a fleeting glimpse of Martin in his Clifton kit.

Its on ITV Player, which you can find from the ITV website. Dowsett did make it all look pretty easier.

Thanks for the mention Billy, I wondered whether you would be there.

Absolutely brilliant day out, great coaching from Mark Barry and and the Sky guys. Really pleased to qualify for the nights event as it was the first time I had ever ridden on track. Yes Alex does make it look easy imagine what if feels like watching him fly past when you are giving it your all! Hope I did Clifton proud, I tried to get the kit in as many shots as possible.

I have put some pics on Facebook if anyone is interested and you can see the footage of the actual race on ITV Player on the internet approx 34 minutes in.
