A place to talk about anything! Want to find someone to ride with? Get help on mending things? Organise lifts?

Sunday Clubrun, 4th Dec

Post by Rob »

As posted last week, this Sunday we'll point our wheels towards the Reivaulx / Helmesley area. Not an overly long ride, about 75miles, but some good climbing. Shouldn't be late back, but always prudent to bring lights at this time of year.

The roads are also very gritty at the moment - would be best to leave your expensive summer rubber at home. I was out in the dark on Wednesday evening and punctured on Pig Lane between Buttercrambe and Bossall - right in the middle of that wood. Not the most relax place to make a repair!

A worthwhile investment even if you just use on the back tyre and doesnt slow you down that much!

I like the fact that they feel the need to state that '1 Flataway fits one wheel'

No s**t Sherlock!
