Wednesday Evening Club Ride on 4th May

Post by Allan »

I have been asked to lead the club evening ride on Weds 4th May.
The ride will start from Low Dalby car park at 7pm prompt (please arrive for 6.45pm).
The ride will be about 16 miles in length with 700m of climbing. The route will be generally blue grade throughout with one short technical section and one short but tough tarmac road climb. This ride generally takes 1.5 hours to complete but please bring suitable lights, inc a rear light for the short on road section.
Newcomers are most welcome. If you have been unsure about joining us on previous Weds nights, then this ride may be for you! The pace will not be set to suit the faster riders who turn out.
Please post if you are coming.

Cheers
Allan

I am planning to come to this Wednesday's ride. Would anyone want to share a lift from Linton On Ouse or York?

Blummin heck, was planning to come along to this, to give my cack handed mountain biking another go, but my missis is out so I'm sitting on the babies.

I need a lift

Post by Manolo »

I'd love to go but I would need a lift because, as I mentioned the last week, I won't have my car for at least a couple of months.

I wouldn't have problems to get to Dalby because I can take the train to Malton and cycle from there, but in this case I wonder if anybody could give me a lift back to York (to avoid the road to Malton at night)?

In any case, I'll be there.

Take care!

I'll be able to give someone a lift back to York, but not to Dalby as I'll be coming from Thirsk.

Hi

So could I grap a lift with Steph to Dalby and then grap a lift with Jayw to York?

Steph: I live on Hull Road so I could easily cycle there.
