Ahhhh, so that's why there were so many riders out going the opposite way to me. I was a bit worried at one point!

Skipton was pretty good - great day, super atmosphere & some lovely views to be had. My swimming has improved over winter which I'm pleased about & the bike section was fantastic (despite the grumpy traffic!)

Sadly a pull in my thigh meant my run was well, 'conservative' and for some reason I spent longer than usual messing around in transition so I only just scraped into the top 20. Still, first one of the year, and some pretty tough competition too, so not bad at all really.

Well done to everyone else on their various rides :D

I'd just like to add my thanks to Dave and everyone else involved in running the Scotton. It was easily one of the most punishing but enjoyable days out on the bike I've had in a long time.
