club kit questionnaire web form

Post by ann.w »

this won't submit, it keeps on telling me I haven't completed all the Qs.
I put a bogus answer in Q3 ( I don't currently have any kit so I shouldn't be completing that one) but it still puts a red box round Qs 5 & 8 ( the club kit order, and the Q on where you buy stuff now) even though I have put answers in these.
I don't know who needs to fix this, so I thought I'd just write a post and hope the right person spotted it.
thanks
Ann

Just a thought, I found that you needed to put an answer on every line of Q's 5 & 8, (ie. yes, no, never, etc. for each line option). If you miss a button on one of the line options, it wouldn't work. I've no idea what you should do if you've already done this. :)

still can't submit

Post by trevorj »

I have tried three times now and completed every line. Q 9 is just one line and almost invisible. Is it my computer. I could not find any further questions or a submit box to click. Sorry.

Hi Mal, I seem to have experienced every problem that's been posted so far, and none are tech reasons, all are simple usability issues, so thought I'd again post my experience of working it out. It seems to be a very simple survey tool which is not sophisticated but which does the job satisfactorily.

At the risk of repeating something you may already have done (sorry if you have), does a horizontal scroll bar appear at the very bottom of your page when you're on the questionnaire page? If so, make sure you use it to scroll to the very right of the page. On my laptop, when I scrolled right, it uncovered another vertical scroll bar on the right hand side which will enable you to scroll down to lower questions and the Submit button. It's all about screen sizes, etc. on your laptop.

Again, if this doesn't work, you're on your own! :)

Cracked it: half screen so I could see all scroll bars. Thanks Darren - hope you're feeling better.

Sorry Ann, despite Darren's instructions, my mainframe computer [I don't have a laptop] has no horizontal scroll line on this survey, and it all stops with half of the first line of Q9.
I'm sure one less reply will not harm your consultation, but this the first time I have been unable to complete any questionnaire or anything else on this computer.
