Just getting in early to mark the card of all those of you who's NY resolutions included "get out on the clubrun more often"!
It's "back to our roots" this January with a few 70-80 mile classic Sunday clubruns. Its going to be Thornton le Dale this Sunday with an early cafe stop to help those who just want a 3-3.5 hour non-stopper (just keep pushing on the pedals when you smell the bacon butties and head for home).
Everybody's training/riding has been compromised to some extent over the last 6 weeks, so you can be sure that most of us will be carrying an extra kilo or two. There's no better time to get on board.
How was the roads? I was going to come out on this but it was pretty frosty this morning and having fell off near Kelfield on ice on Thursday and wrote a helmet off I was a bit nervous about venturing out this morning.
