Up Sutton Bank and then via Hawnby to lunch in Helmsley. Less than 80 miles! See you in the square at 9.

Sat. 6/11 h group route
Moderator: Moderators
Judging by your form on the night rides, I should think that you'd cope with this route / anticipated pace just fine G. And don't worry, regrouping stops are carried out whenever necessary; you'd never be abandoned on the Moors, or anywhere else come to that, unless you wanted to be of course!
See you Saturday
See you Saturday
Sutton Bank Open?
Found this report on the WEB so not sure if Sutton BAnk is open or closed but this article certianly suggests it should be open.

Ooooh, fresh tarmac. You don't realise how much rough road surfaces slow you down until your wheels hits a patch of, usually all too brief, newly laid surface - that or take a trip to the Continent.
Hopefully for £820,000 they have done a proper job not just put down a layer of chippings and a couple signs, laughably instructing motorists to keep below 10 mph. If that is the case, it'll be downright dangerous for cyclists for a couple of weeks, until the cars have pummelled the surface flat again.
