Club Run - Sun 10th Oct, NY Moors

Post by Tullio »

This month we're off to the high Moors around Danby.

Meet Danby Moors Centre Car Park (NZ717083) 10:15 for 10:30 start.

Pace and distance will depend on who turns up and the weather but expect 3-4 hours with some tough hills to keep you warm   . Bring plenty of warm stuff and a bit of food.

We'll find somewhere for lunch at the end of the ride.

NB If it's raining cats and dogs like last Sunday (or forecast to) I'll cancel by 5pm Saturday on this thread so keep an eye on it.

I would like to come.

But ive only just got back on my bike after 6 months off due to crashing and then been hit by a car, so my fitness is terrible, i know pace etc based on who's there but i can guarantee i will be the slowest, would i still be welcome?

David,

It's a social ride more than a race but having said that it'll be a hilly 3-4 hour ride. Only you know what 'fitness is terrible' means but so long as you're feeling average you should be fine as you're usually one of the faster ones anyway.

Hopefully see you there.

I'm sorry guys, but last minute work-related stuff wont' allow me to do it tomorrow.

I hope you have good fun because the weather is going to be apparently good.

Best,
Manolo.
