We have started to compile a list of people who might be interested in short notice rides outside usual club times.
The list of mobile numbers can be found in the "contact details" section on the discussion board. It is only visible to registered, logged-in members.
If you want to be involved, PM me and I will add your number to the list. Then simply add the other numbers to your mobile phone and text when and where you are riding if you fancy some company.
We are having our first outing organised in this way this afternoon. There looks to be a break in the weather and a group will be leaving the Askham Bryan College road entrance at 1430h today. The plan is to ride out via Askham Richard, Tockwith, Spofforth, Follifoot, Panal, Kirkby Overblow, Sicklinghall, Linton, Bramham, Boston Spa, Thorpe Arch, Askham Bryan.
Come along if you fancy it and PM me if you want to be added to the list.

Well, the Clifton Anytimers had their first ride this afternoon! What a lovely day for it.
Admittedly it was a rather select peleton (me and Andy) that left at 1435 for a non-stop blast to the north west of York. Andy has been out with Kevin a few times and has studied under the expert tutelage of Darren N at the Ryedale Rumble. He is far too good on the hills for my liking!
Great ride and hopefully as more people submit there mobile numbers (log-in and look at the "Contact Details" bit on the discussion board) and a few texts start flying backwards and forwards, there will be a new incentive to get out there as the weather starts to close in.
Hope to catch up with some of you at Gerry's Audax on Sunday.
