The local paper says it will be closed to cars from 5 March for up to 12 weeks. Diversions will be either the A1079 Kexby or the bridge at Buttercrambe. There will continue to be pedestrian access it seems.
Worth bearing this in mind if heading to Buttercrambe in case the traffic is much worse than normal.
