'Fraid I'm elsewhere (again) this weekend. Is someone happy to decide a route and make sure everyone gets round it or has a good excuse??

Training ride 10/07/10

Post by Sweeting »

Hi there.

Not a member as yet. What rides go from the square on Saturday. I see there is a group H ride and a training ride. Is there much difference, ie duration, intensity etc. Looking to join a club and would like to ride with a club on a regular basis work permitting.

Thanks, Simon.

Hi Simon

The training ride is usually around three hours and always non-stop - most of those who do it are either racing or intending to race sometime. The H ride is longer and always has a cafe stop. Howard (who puts the H in H Rides) usually posts the route on here beforehand as it varies from week to week. The H rides are still pretty brisk - have a read back through reports on the discussion board to see which ones sound best for you.
