Does anyone fancy a 24h 400km team ride, two weekends from now?
A friend and I did the Summer Arrow to York last year but haven't been able to form a team this time round. See here for the basic idea of Fleche (Arrow) rides. Teams of 3-5 members ride towards a point over 24h, the team with the greatest distance wins. Last year, we did this route - Manchester to York in a big loop via the midlands. This year, the planned route goes the other way, up to Gretna then back down to York on part of the LEL route. There are 400km or 500km options, depending on how fit you're feeling!
This ride would start on Friday June 18th or Saturday June 19th at your convenience as Tim and I are both pretty flexible. Finally I'll mention that if anyone's interested in Paris-Brest-Paris next year, ACP have introduced a cap on rider numbers and will be giving preferential entry to people who've ridden long audaxes in 2010 ... such as this one.
