Thanks guys - but both Dave and Tim have committed to organising an event and they shouldn't have to step in to marshal as well - where are the rest of the riders? those who aren't organising races?

Come on people!

Last year nearly thirty people rode six or more of these events. I'm sure this year the numbers will be the same or greater. You know who you are!

We've done all the applications and CTT/highways/police paperwork, and Cath has sorted out organisers for all events and thought through all the logistics. We've had help volunteered by long-standing supporters of the series who always give up their time to help, from parents of young riders, and from people who are already organising other events.

This club, and this series can only run if those who benefit from the club's activities occasionally, just occasionally, put something back in and help with them. Can we have a couple of riders, please, to marshal at this first event?

I have offered to marshall on thursday, sent an email a few days ago, not heard from anyone so I don't know if I'm needed but the offer still stands.

Darren (afraid I didnt get your original email), Arthur, TimJ - I've sent you all an email, please let me know if you dont get it in case wrong.

Thanks to everyone who's offered to help - we now have enough volunteers to run this event - next week is on the Bulmer/Ganthorpe course, all help appreciated.

A few members have sent me dates they know they can marshal - if you know in advance of a specific date then let me know.
