Looking at the website for the event, it might be worth:
1) Distributing all our e-mail addresses in each of the teams so we can contact each other. Maybe do some training together?
2) Deciding as a team what our goal is: Win, compete, not be last Clifton cc team, get round, have some fun etc.
3) Compiling a list of stuff we can bring or can hire/borrow:
I can bring spare wheels for example.
lights & spare lights, first aid, spare wheels, spare bikes, vans, marquees, tables, chairs, tents, spare bits, food etc.
4) Having a meet before the event so we can all check our bikes and bits we are going to bring. Its worth some else checking over your stuff just in case you fail to spot something that may fail.
5) Have someone prepared to write for the cliftonite to say what we have done.

Thank you to Rich for a great day out delivering the entries.
We got to where the Sat nav took us, but did not know which was Pat's house so stopped 2 old dog walkers, before we could even say hi one piped up with "you are lost and looking for the Adams house" and gave directions when we got close there was signs directing us in. We delivered the enteries and and had tea biscuts and a chat with the legend Pat himself- such a lovely man and fantastic hospitallity! He reckons that the event would fill up by yesterday afternoon or today and did confirm all our teams had got in!!!
We then followed Jay's advice and parked in Castleton and did a short ride up the broken road, Rushup Edge and Mar Tor. It was so snowy up top it was hard work but great fun snowballing Rich and the chatty walkers.
Quite proud that I only had 1 navigational error............I lost the map!
Very excited!!

Thank you to Gill for driving, Great ride round the peaks to top it off.
Wasn't expecting a snowball in the back of the head at the top of the first climb though.
We should do a club ride round here sometime.
Dan your team name was, wait for it..... Clifton cc: Muffin Commando Squad.
I'll send a group email so we can discuss who's taking what, training etc.
Maybe meet in the pub again to finalize everything a few weeks before the big event, I'm sure your all up for that
Let the training commence.
