Forecast is 0 degrees at 1800 and for -2 overnight but fine at the moment.

Who is interested or shall we give it a miss until the temperatures start to rise at long last.

Hi ian

My feeling is that I will wait until the thermometer shows a bit of improvement and we can be more confident of the road conditions!
I seem to be grabbing an odd evening ride on my own at the moment but never seem able to reliably predict when that is!

Guys - just find yourself a lit circuit. These conditions are quite good although it is below zero the roads are dry so no black ice. I've been using University/Badger Hill/Hull Rd or Taddy Rd / Bish / Knavesmire Rd circuits every week since mid Jan - lit & gritted so no ice. You can see the potholes which is the real issue - you wont see them in the country in the dark until its too late! Just use your imagination a bit and make the best of the conditions. We have a winter every year and these conditions are nothing exceptional.
