Yeah looks wet, wet, wet. Guess I need to just face up to the fact that summer is over. Time to put the rear guard back on.
I'd bring the fixed gear but for a lack of bottle mounts and a fear of really big hills.

D'oh, sorry gang, but true to the life of a freelancer I've been "acquired" for a meeting tomorrow, and I can't really say no to the National Trust.

Luckily I managed to get 50 miles in today on the fixed gear - Bish - Back lanes - Appleton Roebuck - Taddy - Wighill - Healaugh? - Tockwith - Cattal? - Whixley - Aldwark - Benningborough - York. Flat, dry and relaxing.

I'll be thinking of you trudging around the Wolds in the wet.
