You could always stop at Gretna Green on the way up and get him to do the honourable thing. Then you can upgrade yours to family membership for a fiver.

Last chance to book a place on this before the remaining few places are offered to waiting non-members.

I know some of the newbies have shown interest. If you want to come post here or mail mtb(at)cliftoncc.org AND send a cheque for £30 to Rachel Woolley at the Cumbria address on the first post.

The riding on offer is everything from gentle fire trail to technical, rocky descents. Even the road riding in Dumfries is excellent.

I think there's 4 places left only now.

Just a reminder that the next 6 cheques to be recieved will secure the last 6 places!!

I've had so many emails from people interested so the only way I can reserve places is when money is in my hand. Sorry to have to be so strict!

Look forward to seeing you there!

I will be travelling in my car so can offer 2 places (to club members). One person will need to supply their own roof mounted rack though as I only have two.
I was thinking of leaving York around 10am and stopping off at Mabie for an afternoon ride on the way to the accomodation, which is about 20 minutes drive further on.
Are there any thoughts on the weekends itinerary???

Well Dalbeattie is only a few minutes away from the accommodation so seems silly not to go there on one of the days. If anyone else doesn't mind a 45 min drive I'd happily do the red/black at Kirroughtree. Ae is ~40 mins (we did that this weekend but it has plenty to offer! 24Km red, jump park, orange downhill route), Drumlanrig is also ~40 mins. So lots of options.

Was hoping to leave on friday lunchtime and stop off at Hamsterley on the way up... Would love to try and squeeze Dalbeattie, Kirroughtree & Ae in over the weekend if there's time/legs for it! :)
