As per my post in the other thread I think this is an excellent plan......but I'll still be sitting at my desk at 7:30 on Monday evening.

My time to help is limited but could I be copied into any correspondence from the meeting in case there is a contribution I could make?

I would be interested. I think the things we need are a good venue and a good program of activities. We would also need a reasonable number of people to run it. Me and my wife did a cycle slalom course at our local school last week for three groups of 6 x 6 year olds. It was good fun but we did need to change the course and what they did over the 30 mins of each session to keep them interested. I was running around the whole time. Therefore I think we need to have a good range of things to do with changes to retain interest.

Would be interested in what they do over in Leeds and up at Ampleforth. I am sure that we maybe able to get some support from the councils cycle team and British Cycling.

I think this is an area for spending some club funds on equipment and on the Go-ride training (even if its only to reduce the cost a bit).
