The 1732 Challenge - 12/13 September
This year's 2 day trip away is to the highest Pub in England, the Tan Hill Inn, at 1732ft above sea level.
Those who've been before know the score but for others the rough plan is to pack a (small) backpack and take off on the bikes for 2 days, avoiding as many roads as possible and get to somewhere with refreshments and a bed for the night. Evening entertainment is varied but usually involves a beer in a Pub (shouldn't be too hard this year) and eating lots.
I've block booked the accommodation already but space is limited so we need to firm up ASAP. There's a mixture of bunkroom and B&B type rooms.
Usual arrangements; first come get first places and priority will be given to (paid up) club members.

I've had to flip the dates for this weekend to 12/13 September but now confirmed the rooms with Tan Hill.
£20 per person in bunkroom accommodation but includes all linen and breakfast.
It should be a lively evening. The barn is booked out for British Sea Power so there's an option to get some tickets and see them in the evening....or just have a few beers in the pub!
Max 12 places I'm afraid so 1st come get the places.
