Kit Gilham - Cycling Weekly

Post by BroomWagon »

Anyone else notice Kit Gilham's photo and mention in 17 August's Cycling Weekly in the Tour of Pendle. Nice to see a Clifton Jersey in Cycling Weekly.

I see regrettably Kit's name isn't in the finishers, anyone know what happened?

Outstanding performance though.

I have copy if anyone would like to take a look
Typical comic nowadays though
All the proper race reports are shoved to the back after reviews of silly bikes and reporters holding forth about sportifs
I particularly liked the bit about the break containing all the "big hitters" which continued to list 1 * Kit Gilham (Clifton CC) among some very high powered company
A couple of nice photos too

Could you bring it along tonight Mark, wouldn't mind seeing it....the race report that is, not the "what I did at the weekend" sportif stuff.....

Blimey! Clifton's kit, on Clifton's Kit, on TV! Shame that a******e Mc.Whateverhisnameis couldn't read race numbers quick enough to give him a namecheck in among the "Lovatt's looking strong/Lovatt's looking tired/Lovatt's looking strong etc" stuff. Well done That Man tho!

Cracking coverage though - better than the TdF!
