Anyone recommend a good physio?

Can anyone recommend a physio or sports therapist in York, ie. one who knows about cycling injuries? Also has anyone got any advice on hip joint problems and causes, like change in bike set up. I changed my saddle recently but can't believe that's the root of the problem. Any help much appreciated ...

Darren, the fatal split came at Coxwold with you chaps going straight ahead, Tony and I opted for a now foolish left turn after a vain attempt by us both to pull all back onto the group. I was disappointed to miss the express train back to York as was due home for afternoon tea and a smoked kipper ...

I was planning on doing one of the Ron K rides this Saturday. Does it start from the Knavesmire, is there a fee?

I'd be interested in a Saturday earlier start intermediate ish ride. Of late I just can't commit a whole day at the weekend to being out and my hill climbing fitness isn't quite there ...

Phil, thanks. Not sure how my fitness will fare for real racing but would certainly like to get there so please add me to the list. I don't know what all the race category abbreviations mean so I guess just put me on em' all except veteran. Do you have my email address from the membership database?

Good solid ride for the first of 2010, cheers guys, enjoyed despite the conditions. Cup of tea in the bath was most welcome on returning.

Here is the route and stats, (have to convert from Ks to miles though)

Well I finally got round to sorting route sharing from Nokia Sports Tracker so we do have stats from Sundays gentle meander ride. You'll have to do the metric - imperial conversion though......and it seems we covered 0.3 miles whilst just sat in the cafe, excellent! Good ride, company and some ...

I think this may have diverted away from Dave's initial topic slightly but this is relevant to the last few posts.
One of the things that initially attracted me to the club earlier this summer was reading on the website about the 3 to 4 hour training rides . Then having started riding with the club ...
