Thanks Phil for organising such a mammoth event, and to anyone else who helped. It was my first crit & only second road race but I really enjoyed it and certainly have the bug now!!

I really enjoyed my first road race and thankfully got to the finish line unscathed, especially with the crashes behind me and saddle bolts exploding right infront of me. Thanks to everyone who gave me help and advice both before and during the race.

Tuesday 6th ride

Nollaig & I were there at 9:30, by 9:40 we decided no one was stupid enough to brave the elements so we carried on on a shorter trip. A 63km route via Haxby, Stamford Bridge, Kexby, Escrick & Naburn. Windy & wet but better than nowt.
