As my first road race, I was a bit disappointed I couldn't spend more time in a group. I latched on as one passed by but then moved to the back of the bunch at the hairpin turn so as to not cause any problems...promptly being thrown out the back as we hit the headwind!

People were strewn out ...

Sunday club run for me. I knew Rob and Muzzy were going to be there. Though I'm told there are better Clifton riders than Rob and Paul, after being a member of Clifton for a fair few years, I've yet to cycle with them and to be honest have not the slightest wish to, there is only so much ...

Re: Sunday 10th Club Run - Short and Long Option

Hi guys

Club run will head off to Markington onto Masham (if you want a shorter ride this is a good place to stop for a cafe and turn for home). Will then climb Jordans, a cafe stop at How Steens, onto Pateley Bridge and either come home via Brimham Rocks or Yorks Folly.

Andrew
May I recommend Colin Hawxby; he is a very good sports therapist. I had a problem with my knee before I went to the world championships last year. He was recommended to me and he sorted me out in no time, nice man and does not rip you off.
He advertises on the Clifton website under ...

For you, yes. I'd ride the road wheels though. If Phil Greaves turns up, it's fast when it gets going.

Yeah, was hard graft. I lasted till 8 miles to go, then held the gap to inside 2 min on the run in. Was pleased with that as I was on my mtb with slicks vs all them with carbon aero toys. Think ...

Try rubbing legs with vaseline! sounds silly but it stops the damp and cold getting in, and they will recover quicker!!!
