Thanks for that Paul, very useful. The Youth website is good too and very handy. Will bring the boy along on his mtb and keep trying a few sessions and see how we go I think before we take the plunge on a bike then!

Junior bikes

Hello all, I am looking to get my 8yr old a road bike. He would like to come along to the Saturday morning sessions at the York cycle circuit and do some of the go ride sessions & also fancies a craic at the Malton cycling races on the 22nd of June.
I had hoped that we would come and do some stuff ...

I was recommended the PX stuff a couple of years ago by a friend who had bought one of their road bikes, and was very happy. He had owned lots of different brands and did not carry any traditionalist or any other predudices and so bought on feedback and told me the same.

Personsally and from a real value for money point of view i would highly recommend Planet X. The new nanolight looks really nice and they will build you anything, and are very good to deal with.

Thanks to all involved on putting on this event again. Fantastic course (bit lumpy for me though :wink: ) and a well organised and run event really enjoyed it, cheers for your effort, twas worth it.

Ok to give a slightly different point of view, i rode three Clifton events last year and prob the same the year before and i am a member of malton wheelers. Now we only usually get on average 10 to 15 riders to our tt's and so presumed that yours would be similar to ours, but seemed that you had way ...

Yep could do with knowing the startlist soon myself just to make sure that i am on it, as i sent my regs in at the beginning of April, is the event full etc. Just need to know when we will know i suppose basically & I am actually looking forward to the pain of this as it will be nice to be on a nice ...
