This sound like a great plan.
I am sure we will be up for a trip over to the lakes, but are not very good at forward planning so will catch up nearer the time if that's okay?

Hi Phil, glad you can make it. The Campsite operates on a first come basis , but we have turned up August bank holiday before and got a spot. Hopefully your van does not need an electric hook up as these have to be prebooked and have all gone.

This years Easter Trip is going to be the on the banks of Ullswater and the base of Helvellyn. The MTB riding is good and natural and we are staying on the Fred route for roadies.

Chris, if I remember correctly you do not need to be a BC member for Brownback's? I read somewhere that the dates should be out very soon. Not too sure about the Nutcracker, but am sure other Clifton members will know, seem to think if you want BC points you must join BC?

Well as Tullio said I did the 3 Peaks Cyclocross, in my opinion after yesterday the best race ever!! It was the hardest thing I have ever done. the wind was brutal, I was blown off my bike twice on Whernside and when my bike was on my shoulder it just kept trying to fly away.

As Jess has posted a fab event that was very well organised with amazing cakes. I did not want to go at all, the weather was disgusting and it was hilly, but really enjoyed the course.
