MTB Racing Advice - Nutcracker & Brownbacks Series

Post by stoney01 »

Hi all,

I am new to the club, I plan to enter the Nutcracker and Brownbacks MTB race series this year. I am keen to understand whether I join these events through Clifton or seperately as I am keen to race for clifton?

Also do I need to become a full member of British Cycling (i.e bronzer, silver , gold member) or am I covered under my membership with Clifton?

Thanks

Chris

Chris, if I remember correctly you do not need to be a BC member for Brownback's? I read somewhere that the dates should be out very soon. Not too sure about the Nutcracker, but am sure other Clifton members will know, seem to think if you want BC points you must join BC?

Gill, the Nutcracker is up and available to enter. The first round is at Dalby. It's good fun, well organised and friendly. You don't need to be a member of Clifton or BC. Go for it - you'll beat me if no-one else.
