Sutton T.T. - Thursday 28th. of July 7:30pm
Posted: Fri Jul 22, 2022 6:58 am
Thursday the 28th. of July sees the final event in our 2022 Thursday Evening T.T. Series. Sign-on will begin at 6:45pm with the first rider off at 7:30pm.
The race will held on the 10 mile, flat Sutton Course and we still require an Organiser and a couple of Marshalls for it to take place. If you would like to volunteer to help then please add your name against the appropriate role for this, or future, events on our Volunteer Spreadsheet.
Continuing on from previous COVID-19 guidelines, organisers may still have a few extra duties to perform. These relate to washing signs and numbers after use and ensuring that basic social distancing is observed both at sign-on and in the starting area. These are not too onerous and an additional checklist has been added to the standard one.
We will be taking cash on the night but if the Organiser or Competitors prefer for payment to be made online then this can also be done (see details below).
Clifton C.C. bank account details.
Sort Code: 08-90-72
A/C: 50030114
As a reference you should use your name followed by TT and the date of the race using the format ddmmyyyy with no spaces, for example:
JmilnerTT06052021
Please be aware that paying online does not guarantee a start in the event, as places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and in order of Clifton C.C. Members, then partner Clubs (Members of York Tri Club, York Cycleworks and Malton Wheelers), and then Members of any other affiliated Clubs as guests of Clifton C.C.
Can we also remind competitors that C.T.T. rules now dictate that it is compulsory for a working front (white) and rear (red) light to be attached to your bike when starting the event.
Full details of all the events in this Series can be found on the Clifton C.C. Thursday Evening Time Trial Series 2022 page of our Website.
Remember, these events can only take place if enough people volunteer to run them and competitors participate.
Hoping for a great evening and good turnout to round the season off!
