Evening all - yet another sunny Wheldrake TT - never rains here  - good effort by the riders again. Many thanks to the Marshalls - Mary and Scott, and Matt, Mark and Graham for timekeeping duties plus James for rearranging and making the evening happen.

Well, it all came together in the end! A hastily rearranged TT, last minute scrambling round for volunteers, but, once again, everyone came up trumps. Many thanks to Neil for organising, Mary and Scott for marshalling and Graham, Matt and Mark for timekeeping as well as a big thank you to the 22 riders who pinned on a number and gave it their all! Big congratulations to Leo Scrimshaw on first place with an excellent time.

Next week, roadworks permitting, we should be at Arkendale again for a 10 miler on the V212. We still require an organiser and a couple of marshals for the event to go ahead. If you wish to volunteer please follow the link from the club website.

Please note that, like this week, we could be forced to change the course due to roadworks on the A1, so please keep an eye on this forum for any updates.

Mmmm, Strava suggests I need a stewards' enquiry for Number 4!

Either that or I was abducted by space aliens for nefarious experiments and returned to the wrong point in time, but Occam's Razor principle probably applies :D

Hi Kev,

The stewards have considered your challenge and ruled it does not stand on the basis of having to google what Occam's razor principle is....

Martin W has the sheets with the recorded time - unfortunately all i have are the calculated times - what did strava say you did? I'll ask Martin to check the recorded time. Strava did seem to report quicker times generally this week - but only 10s ish, not enough to be properly abducted and tested on...

cheers
