Another amazing turnout, a full compliment of 40 riders, for the sixth event in our Thursday Evening T.T. Series. Sincere apologies to any rider who was unable to participate due to the event being oversubscribed.

Results can be found Here.

The final race, on Thursday the 27th. of August, will again be held on the 10 mile, flat, Wheldrake circuit. We already have an Organiser, Timekeepers and Marshalls in place, so the event is currently "Good to go".

Please note that, due to failing light at this time of year and the large entry numbers we've experienced recently, the start time for this event has been brought forward again, with the first rider off at 6:45pm. Sign-on will begin at 6pm.

As a result of COVID-19, organisers do have a few extra duties to perform. These mainly concern the need for washing signs and numbers after use and ensuring that social distancing is observed both at sign-on and in the starting area. These are not too onerous and an additional checklist has been added to the standard one. All of these races are compliant with C.T.T. Guidelines.

As part of these guidelines, payment to compete in each event now needs to be made online and details of this can be found Here.

Can we also remind competitors that it is compulsory for a working rear light to be attached to your bike when starting the race and conditions may dictate that a small front light is also advisable.

Remember, these events can only take place if enough people volunteer to run them and competitors participate.

If you would like to volunteer to help then please add your name against the appropriate role for this, or future, events on our Volunteer Spreadsheet.

Full details of the remaining events in this series can be found on the Clifton C.C. Thursday Evening Time Trial Series 2020 page of our Website.

Hoping for another great evening.
