Just thought I'd post that whilst cleaning my bike after the weekend rides I noticed that the wear marks on my front rim had disappeared. This would be unexceptional apart from the fact that the wheels were only purchased in October for use this winter

Winter grit and grime is very abrasive - don't forget to check your rims as the effects of a rim failure (esp front) at speed don't bear thinking about!
