MTB rides next year

Hi guys,
Do you know of any interesting MTB routes starting from the north end of York? I have followed route 65 as far as Benningborough Hall, but it was a bit flat!
I need to work off some of this Turkey and mince pies, I've barely looked at my bike since September and even then it took me nearly 2hrs to 1/3 of Dalby red route!
