Dalby Red Route - just how long should it take to get round?

Well done to the Tan Hill riders - great effort

I took my brother in law to Dalby Sunday

Absolutely fantastic with lots of frost on the ground

Question is how much time should you leave for the red route?

I said bank on a couple of hours but in the end we started from the visitor centre and still took more than 3 having cut the top corner

It didn't feel like we were hanging around even given the conditions - did we get caught in some kind of time warp?

The Red route is a lot longer than it was. I've not been round the new route so can't say how long it takes now.

In the Summer we did a club run around the red in about 2.10 of riding time (there was a 15 min stop at Jingley as I recall).

On the same day Simon was attempting a personal record for 2 laps inside 4 hours. In the end I think he was just over but still deserves respect.

That was ideal conditions so a little longer in winter is to be expected.
