The clubrun on Sunday will be depleted by the hostel weekend. I overheard some talk of riding Jerry Boswell's Audax on Sunday. What's the plan; ride it instead of the usual clubrun?

I've entered the 100k for this Sunday.

If Rob is away this weekend then here's a suggestion
Why don't we make Gerrys' Audax the Club Run?
If i remember correctly this is what we did last year and it was successful
Gerry also made himself more than useful at the start of the 3 bridges so i am all in favour of us supporting his event
Suggested plan:
I will be in the square normal time - 9am
And ride out with anyone who turns up destination Wigginton for 10am
Others can meet us there
In the spirit of the day we may even grab a coffee before setting off
Expect a sociable and accessible pace
Hopefully some of the newer faces from the Hill Climb will join us again?
I am sure it would help Gerry if we turned up armed with completed entry forms

As there is no Social Ride scheduled this week I was hoping to set out with the YH group on Saturday then branch off at some point and aim to get back to York for 2pm approx. Anyone else from the usual Saturday crowd keen on a truncated Social Ride type of ride?

Well, I don't qualify as the usual Saturday crowd but I'm aiming to be out for a steady 3hrs' worth again this week.

Sounds good to me, if I'm feeling OK I'll meet up at square or Wiggington
Good thinking Mark!

Ah - or are you meeting at 9 with the YH lot?

When I saw Rob on Wednesday he suggested that the absence of a mention for a Social ride may reflect a typo rather than the fact that the ride wasn't happening due to the YH trip.
I'd like to go out on Saturday for a ride and will try and fit in with whatever suits best - either with the YH group at 9 or at 10 with whoever is there.

I've clarified with Kevin. He'll be there at 1000, but he's happy for anyone to join us at 0900.
Decisions, decisions.....!

Remind me Arthur, were you there for that sports psychology seminar in the spring?!

Ah, yes. And indeed I did fail to get out of bed. Was out celebrating some good news on Friday
